Diabetes lies have proliferated over the internet. A recent survey showed that 90% of North Americans have fallen for false stories they have read or come across on social media platforms. Another 68% of the pool said that they didn’t trust large corporations and their government. Many large companies involved with the manufacture and sale of diabetes products may be involved in diabetes lies.
In 2009, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I had not been taking care of myself. As Director of Food and Beverage for a large resort, I was always busy. I found myself turning to cola drinks and other sweets made with refined sugar for a quick energy. One day after work, on the drive home, I began to crave sugar. I recall that day as if it was yesterday. It was June 25, 2009, the day the famed singer Michael Jackson died. I heard the announcement on my car radio.
When I was diagnosed, I was understandably upset. I didn’t want to accept what had happened to me. In desperation, I began to search for a cure. I turned to the internet. That was when I became exposed to how money makes people and corporations put profits first instead of honest business practices. They will lie to customers just to make a sale. I once met a U.S. business who told me that others operating in the same industry as he told him that if he were dishonest, he could make 10 times more money. Similarly, my acupuncture doctor told me that a couple of doctors in her field approached her asking her why she was charging $50 per session and not $80. They then demanded that she change her rate, but she refused.
Diabetes lies online
We know it is common for businesses to cheat the costumer. The diabetes industry is no different. Here are just some of the pitches I came across online, one of which was rather dangerous.
One individual claimed that he had a God-given gift of healing people and said that he had healed thousands of people. He included testimonials. His product for the cure of diabetes was cinnamon. He fortified his sales pitch by accusing diabetes drug manufacturers of being dishonest. I tried his cinnamon pills for several months. They did not work. It was then I learned that I had been lied to.
There is product called Banaba being marketed by a lady who claims she used it to help her husband cure his type 2 diabetes. She said her product would cure type 2 diabetes in one month. What I couldn’t understand was that there were three and four months supplies offered, and if the potential buyer would make a 6-months supply purchase, they would get a one-month supply free, in addition to a diet book for curing diabetes. Strange, considering the claim was for a cure after only one month.
I also came across an infomercial hosted by a well-known man named Hugh Dows. He use to host a TV Show called 20/20 so I trusted him. During the infomercial, which was for selling a book called Hidden Health of Treasures, the guest, who was referred to as doctor, said that the book contained all types of remedies and cures, including for diabetes. I rushed to order. When the book arrived, I could not wait to use the information to cure my diabetes. I searched for the chapter, but there was no such information in the book besides saying that a diabetic should drink bay leaf tea. It then said that bay leaf tea can be poisonous. The book gave a phone contact, so I called. The young lady who answered informed me that they had a list of all the conditions and diseases that the book has a remedy for. She put me on hold, came back, and informed me that the list did not include a cure for diabetes. Again, I was lied to.
Diabetes and corporate lies
My search continued, which led to a video I watched made by one, Dr. Joel Fuhrman. In his video, he said that diabetes drug manufacturers came to him and asked him to author an article on diabetes for publication. Upon completion, the drug companies rejected his article saying that if diabetics knew that they could cure their condition, they would stop buying diabetes drugs.
In 2016, with the assistance of doctors, I developed a diet, exercise, and supplement program that reversed and cured my type 2 diabetes. This was my direct evidence that type 2 diabetes can be cured. The method I developed that reversed and cured my type 2 diabetes was featured in the September 2016, WebMD Diabetes magazine, page 19. In my excitement, I reached out to Diabetes UK and the American Diabetes Association, which publishes Diabetes Forecast, an online magazine. In addition, I contacted the Canadian Diabetes Association, (now called Diabetes Canada), to share the good news that was published in WebMD. I wanted to contribute an article about how type 2 diabetes can be reversed and cured, but all of them declined.
Their rejection of my article for publication mirrors what Dr. Fuhrman said in his video (that is still available online) about the drug companies that refused to publish his article so that they could intentionally prevent diabetics from knowing that their condition can be cured.
If you are pre-diabetic, type 2 diabetic, or overweight, information you need to reverse and even cure your condition is now available at Just For Diabetics.
Facebook diabetes groups vary according to the manner in each moderator moderates and what they allow and don’t allow. Facebook diabetes groups that I have joined do not allow the selling of any products. Who can blame them? I can feel what they must be feeling. When I was diagnosed a type 2 diabetic in 2009, I found myself being approached by diabetes pill-peddlers. Some of these pill-peddlers claim that all a diabetic has to do is take their cinnamon pills, for instance. In my case, some claimed that a product they sold called Banaba—which has been used to cure diabetes in the Philippines—was all I needed and that I needed to get a six months’ supply would cure me.
Interestingly, they further said that if I were to make a one-year purchase up front, they would give me three bottles free, in addition to free recipe books. If it takes six months for their product to cure diabetes, then why were they trying to sell me a one-year supply? Others trying to take advantage of diabetics claimed that their calling on earth was to heal people. Let me tell you that cinnamon can never and will never reverse diabetes or help diabetics cure their condition. I learned that the hard, way not to mention being taken financially by a con artist who know absolutely nothing about diabetes.
Diabetes groups on Facebook
Diabetes groups on Facebook are very good to join. They provide support to each member who, otherwise, may not have anywhere to turn. They are also very helpful for those who become upset when they are diagnosed as type 2 diabetic, and for new members who have questions about being diabetic. Some people join a group because their spouse has been diagnosed and they want a support base to turn to and gather information in order to help their spouse.
I myself had to work with doctors and eventually, through research, I was able to develop a three-part formula that reversed my type diabetes in weeks. There are other publications by researchers from top universities showing they have found that type 2 diabetes can be reversed and cured. Somehow this information is not reaching those who need it the most—diabetics.
There are a number of diabetes groups. Before you join one, read their policies and decide if they are a good fit for you. What type of questions can you ask? You can ask questions related to your diabetes or that of loved one; for example, your spouse. I caution, though, that you should be aware that you will likely not be asking questions to a medical doctor or a diabetes cure expert. You will be asking your questions to members of the group who are also diabetics. As a new member—or an established member— you can also respond to comments and give your support to other members.
I hope you find this article helpful.
Ernest Quansah is a Lifestyle Strategist whose work on how type diabetes can be reversed and cured has been featured in WebMD Diabetes magazine. He is the author of Diabetic’s Journey and keynote speaker at 2019, 2nd International Diabetes Care Conference.
Diabetes Canada was formally called the Canadian Diabetes Association to align with others diabetes associations, such as Diabetes UK. It provided information on diabetes care until they began to accept funding from diabetes drug manufacturers.
About Diabetes Canada
Diabetes Canada is a member of the International Diabetes Federation, whose mission is “Promoting diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide”. On the other hand, Diabetes Canada does not promote diabetes care and a cure. It promotes managing diabetes. In 2009, Diabetes Canada stated on their website that a blood glucose level of 7 millimoles per liter (mmol/L) was a good level. Now they have changed that number to 5. That means, what they are saying is that if your blood glucose level is above 5 mmol/L, you need diabetes drugs to manage your blood glucose level.
It is very interesting that when Diabetes Canada first changed their name to Diabetes Canada, in a TV ad, they targeted people in their thirties asking them to go and get a blood glucose test. Yet, many of these people did not have type 2 diabetes, which generally affects people in their mid-forties.
Why did the Diabetes Canada ad target young men and women? Was it so that, if their blood sugar level tested over 5 (mmol/L), they would be considered diabetic and would have to take diabetes drugs? Was changing the starting point for considering someone diabetic changed from 7 mmol/L and above to 5 mmol/L to increase the number of people who depend on diabetes drugs, thus increasing the customer base for the pharmaceutical companies? If the intent was to help sell you drugs manufactured by their sponsors, the pharmaceutical companies, then isn’t it clear who are they serving?
Type 2 Diabetes On The Increase
Type 2 diabetes is mainly on the increase due to two causes:
- Lifestyle choices that make people diabetic. As one doctor I interviewed for the book Diabetic’s Journey said, “They depend on modern medicine to cure themselves when all they have to do is eat moderately and exercise—and 90% of their diseases will be cured or prevented, including type 2 diabetes, heart attack, and stroke.”
- Lack of correct information. The most misleading information about pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes (both which do not require manual insulin injections), is that these conditions should be managed using pharmaceutical drugs. But the purpose of these drugs is to allow the diabetic to continue to eat refined sugar, which is the leading cause of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, as discovered by Dr. Sanjay Basu PhD, an epidemiologist at Stanford University.
Evidence of a cure for type 2 diabetes: On March 16, 2017, it was reported that a research study headed by Dr. Natalia McInnes of McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, concluded that: “Type 2 diabetes can be reversed in just four months by cutting calories, exercising, and keeping glucose under control.”
Type 2 diabetes is managed through the use of prescription drugs. Managing diabetes in this manner has allowed the condition—which can be reversed—to proliferate worldwide. Managing your diabetes means you will always remain a diabetic. While managing diabetes, we invite you to take control of your health and try the program being offered from this website at a fraction of what medical professionals charge. Notably, our formula was featured on WebMD (as mentioned on our Home Page) to give you an assurance that our program works.

The purpose of this article is to provide information on Diabetes America (the current situation of diabetes in America) and to offer a solution as to how type 2 diabetes can be reversed and even cured. The solution being given is evidence-based.
Diabetes is now one of the leading killers in America and is on the increase. The disease costs the American government over 260 billion dollars a year. This figure is predicted to increase as the number of cases grows in the field of Diabetes America. (The costs include expenses related diseases triggered by diabetes, such as heart disease and stroke.)
Lifesaving information that Diabetes America needs as a nation to promote a healthy lifestyle is often prevented from reaching victims of the disease. But can the condition be reversed and cured? Dr. Joel Furnham, a well-respected doctor, related in a video how pharmaceutical companies requested that he author an article on diabetes, which he did. Upon completion, the drug company that had requested him to write the article declined to publish it indicating that, if they published it, diabetics would come to know that their condition could be cured.
Diabetes Rise In America
Diabetes America is growing mainly due to two reasons:
- As one doctor I interviewed for the book Diabetic’s Journey said, “People don’t listen. They depend on modern medicine to cure them, but it cannot. All they have to do is eat moderately and exercise and 90% of their diseases will be cured, including type 2 diabetes. It would also prevent heart attack and stroke.”
- The worst discovery I made when researching the reversal and cure of type 2 diabetes supports what Dr. Fuhrman said. The information on reversing and curing this condition is intentionally withheld from those who need it the most—the sufferers included in Diabetes America. The most misleading information about pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes (both conditions which do not require manual insulin injections) is the information which states that these conditions should be managed using pharmaceutical drugs. The purpose of the drugs is so that the diabetic can continue to eat refined sugar, which is the leading cause of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Managing diabetes means the victim will remain diabetic, which leads to—as mentioned before—stroke, heart disease, and even early death.
The man accredited as the father of Mathematics, Abn al Haytham, also known as Al Hazeen, taught his students about the importance of evidence-based conclusions. In 2009, when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I had a blood sugar level of 21.7 millimoles/L—a life-threatening quantity. Following the norm, I took the route most diabetics take, thinking it was the only available solution. This was to manage the diabetes with pharmaceuticals. One out of two diabetics has a shortened lifespan caused directly or indirectly by type 2 diabetes. Slogans such as, “live happily with diabetes or manage your diabetes”, contradict The International Diabetes Federation’s mission: “Promoting diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide”. When my doctor, Dr. Robinson, and several other health practitioners informed me that type 2 diabetes could be reversed and cured, I entered into research and experimentation and became the test subject. Within three weeks, the diabetes was reversed. The result proved to be direct evidence of the effectiveness of the diabetes cure program offered on this website and was confirmation that type 2 diabetes can be reversed. The program was later featured in the WebMD Diabetes magazine in the article “Secret recipe: How a Chef Cured His Type 2 Diabetes”. You have now seen the evidence and testimonial, so let us help you safely reverse and cure your type 2 diabetes. While managing your diabetes is the best time to apply the program, so act and save your life and your health by avoiding pending heart disease and stroke. We invite you to order our diabetes cure program now.

Pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes
Pre-diabetes, as well as full-blown type 2 diabetes are on the increase, so much so that in 2010 the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a mandate for all nations to take action to combat the spread. In 2015, The International Diabetes Federation reported that more than 400 million people were living with diabetes. Experts predict that if this trend continues, by the year 2040, 1.8 billion people around the world will be diabetic. This article and the research cited within focuses on the growing recognition by diabetes researchers that the consumption of sugar sweetened beverages (SSBs) and foods high in sugar content may be a main cause of pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), overweight, and obesity. A practical and natural solution is also being given for tackling these conditions.
Diabetes type 2 and sugar
Normally, sugar is converted into the simple sugar, glucose. Then, insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, assists in moving the glucose into the cells of the body. A normally functioning pancreas adjusts the amount of insulin produced based on the level of glucose in the blood. If one has diabetes, blood sugar levels become too high and a healthy or normal balance is lost. My research has found that type 2 diabetes commonly occurs when one consumes an excess amount of refined sugar over an extended period. Unlike with type 1 diabetes, where the pancreas produces very little or no insulin, with type 2 diabetes, the pancreas produces an adequate amount of insulin, but the cells are resistant to the hormone.
Weight Gain and Increase in Cases of Type 2 Diabetes
According to Dr. Sanjay Basu Ph.D., an Epidemiologist from Stanford University cited in the Stanford Medicine newsletter in an article written by Digitale (2013): Researchers from Stanford University School of Medicine, the University of California-Berkley and the University of California-San Francisco examined data on sugar availability and diabetes rates from 175 countries over the past decade. After counting for obesity and a large array of other factors, the researchers found that increased sugar in a population’s food supply was linked to higher diabetes rates, independent of obesity rates. Their study was published in Feb. 27 in PLOS ONE.
FB Hu and VS Malik (2010) put forth: Research suggests that sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption is a risk factor for overweight and obesity as well as several cardio-metabolic conditions, especially T2DM.
Overweight and obesity
The human body is a remarkable mechanism able to heal itself when given the right foods. Lifestyle Medicine, the application of healthy eating to allow the body to heal itself is gaining momentum in the medical field. As a diabetes researcher and lifestyle strategist who once almost lost his life to type 2 diabetes, my research, which saved my life, showed that pre-diabetes can be reversed and type 2 diabetes can go into remission by using a three-pronged approach. This includes:
- Low calorie diabetic diet: This facilitates weight loss.
- Diabetic exercise: Exercise designed for diabetics facilitates burning off the excess sugar buildup in the body, plus, weight loss. The way this occurs is that once the sugar has been burnt off, the body turns to fat for energy. The first of the fat to burn off is the thin layer coating the red blood cells. Once that layer of fat is burned off, red blood cells responsible for carrying sugar to the muscles to be used for energy are exposed and begin to absorb sugar and transport it to the muscles. The cells which had become insulin resistant are restored to insulin sensitivity. The diabetes is then in remission.
- Vitamins: A diabetic often requires vitamin supplementation. Vitamin supplementation can speed up the effectiveness of above two methods.
The man accredited as the father of Mathematics, Abn al Haytham, also known as Al Hazeen, taught his students about the importance of evidence-based conclusions. After consulting with several health care practitioners, I carried out my own research and experimentation. I was determined to achieve weight loss and reverse my type 2 diabetes. The development of my three-pronged approach allowed me to achieve my goals in only three weeks. This became my direct evidence of its effectiveness and confirmation of the growing assertion that tackling the problem of excess sugar in the body and weight loss can produce the reversal of T2DM. In 2009 when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I had a blood sugar level of 21.7 millimoles/L—a life-threatening quantity. After three weeks on my program, my blood sugar level was normal. With continued practice of the specific exercises given in my weight loss/diabetes program, I have gone from an overweight 220 pounds to my suggested healthy weight of 180 pounds. To this day I remain type 2 diabetes free and at the same healthy weight.
The above three steps have been endorsed by Prof. S.M. RAJENDRAN. M.D., FRCP(GLAS), D.Sc. and Professor of Diabetology and Medicine and are available to the public globally at the website Just For Diabetics. Adherence to the above three-pronged system can certainly and easily allow a pre-diabetic to lose weight and overcome their condition. It can also put diabetes into remission while allowing for weight loss at the same time, as I myself achieved. Reaching these goals further brings about a reduction in the chances of acquiring heart disease or having a stroke; two of the top causes of a diabetic’s and overweight person’s death.
As a Lifestyle Strategist trained in the culinary field, my personal experience with weight loss and healing from type 2 diabetes using lifestyle medicine—healthy eating, exercise, and vitamins—was featured in WebMD in 2016.
Most commonly, type 2 diabetes is managed through the use of prescription drugs. Managing diabetes in this manner has allowed the condition—which can be reversed—to proliferate worldwide. Managing diabetes means the victim will always remain a diabetic. While managing diabetes, you can apply the three-pronged method of lifestyle medicine to reverse your condition and achieve loss of excess weight. You should also confer with your doctor when adding this method to your lifestyle.
